Event by National Gerbil Society
Our next show will take place on Saturday 12th October at the NAEC Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, (use CV8 2LH for sat navs). We will be in hall 2A.
We have classes for Mongolian Gerbils, in all colours, and classes for other species of Gerbils and Jirds, for example Duprasi and Shaw’s Jirds. Please specify which species when you make your entries. There are also classes for pet gerbils of all species and a special veteran class for gerbils aged 2 and over. Depending on popularity, this class will be added to the schedule. Just let Jackie know if you wish to enter.

Entries cost £1 for all classes and 75p for pet and veteran classes.
There are prizes/rosettes for NGS members and other prizes may also be given out at the Judge’s discretion, which will include exotic species and pets/veterans.
Our Judge for the show is Sue Green. Entries by email to Jackie Roswell Entries close 10th October. Entries by email preferred, but please contact her if you have any problems.
There is an entrance fee to enter the hall, all monies raised go to financing the show.

The admission charges are as follows,
Weekend (2 days) £15 Adults, £13 Senior Citizens, £10 Juniors (5 – 16 years old), £40 Family (2 adults + 2 Juniors)
Daily £13 Adults, £11 Senior Citizens, £8 Juniors (5 – 16 years old), £35 Family (2 adults + 2 Juniors)
You will need to specify which day you require a wristband for.
Finally, we look forward to meeting you and your gerbils and will be very happy to answer any questions you may have.
Travel directions –
By road
From London / M40. Leave the M40 at junction 15 and head onto the A46 towards Coventry. Follow the signs to Stoneleigh Park main entrance or NAEC on the B4113.
From the M6/M9. Leave the M6 at junction 2 and head onto the A46 towards Warwick or at the end of the M69, head onto the A46 towards Warwick and the M40. Follow the signs to Stoneleigh Park main entrance or NAEC on the B4113.
From the M1 (Northbound). Leave the M1 at junction 17 and join the M45 heading towards Coventry. Pick up the signs for the A45 Coventry (NOT Daventry). Stay on the A45 heading towards the A46, follow the signs to Stoneleigh Park main entrance or NAEC on B4113.
By rail
Royal Leamington Spa. Warwick and Warwick Parkway rail stations are situated on the main London Marylebone line. The Birmingham line stop for the Virgin West Coast Mainline.
London Euston – Coventry services every 30 minutes weekdays.
London Marylebone – Warwick Parkway services every 30 minutes.
Birmingham – Coventry frequent services from Birmingham New Street, Birmingham International and Coventry.
From these mainline stations you will need to take a short taxi ride. Taxi ranks are based at both Warwick Parkway and Coventry stations, which are approximately 5 miles from Stoneleigh Park.
By bus or coach
Coventry bus station is 6 miles (10km) away from Stoneleigh Park. Warwick bus station is 9 miles (14km) from Stoneleigh Park.
